Our Trading Terms and Conditions: 

  • Payment is due in full at time of order.

  • We reserve the right to refuse to execute any order if the arrangement for payment is not satisfactory to us.

  • The customer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any order including any applicable design drawing or specification provided by us to you.

  • We do not accept responsibility for any charges incurred by the customer due to goods being delayed by the manufacturer or distributor. Delivery dates are given in good faith, but are estimates only.

  • Time for delivery cannot be part of the contract.
    All deliveries, whether trade or retail, are one-man deliveries. It is the customers responsibility to provide extra labour for unloading goods. If the customer would like to book extra labour they should request this at the time of ordering - the fee for this will be £25 for deliveries within 2 miles of Brixton Water Lane. An extra charge will be levied for deliveries outside of this area.

  • The customer should inspect goods at the time and place of unloading. Any shortages should be reported to Bromley & Ellis within 3 working days of delivery. The person unloading and signing for the goods is responsible for this. Our liability for shortages is limited to making good the shortage. Any shortages reported and supplied after this time will be charged.
    If the goods are damaged at the time of unloading, notice must be given within 3 working days. If notice is not given within this time, the goods will be deemed to have been accepted. Goods cannot be rejected after 3 days.

  • The risk in the goods shall pass to the customer when delivered. The property in the goods shall remain with Bromley & Ellis until all the monies due to us are received.
    If an order is cancelled, in full or part, a handling charge will be applied once the goods have been received by us.

  • In the case of special order goods, they must be paid for in full as soon as the order has been received by the manufacturer. No refunds can be given if special order goods are cancelled.

  • By payment of a deposit the customer is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of sale as set out above.

  • Goods can only be returned up to 10 working days from delivery. Proof of purchase must be supplied. Returned goods must be in their original packaging which must be un-opened. A re-stocking charge of 25% will be levied on returned goods. THIS TERM IS APPLIED WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

    Consumers statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
